Year 9 and 11 pupils Aim Higher at Bangor University

Future Engineers and Designers visited Bangor Universities Industrial and Product Design centre on Thursday as part of a program to educate pupils studying Engineering Design. The day was spent in the innovation design centre where Ysgol Y Grango pupils had a unique opportunity to spent some valuable time alongside the undergraduates students and their lecturers looking at innovative designs and the challenges of market forces both here in Wales and Internationally. The pupils had lectures and visited the main arts building learning about the history of higher education at Bangor  as well as pathways to obtaining a university degree in the future.  All pupils enjoyed the visit and are looking forward to further design workshops in the future and would like to thank all the staff and students at the Design Centre at Bangor University, Diolch
