Easter Holiday School Closure

Easter Holiday School Closure from Monday 6th APRIL 2020 to Monday 20th April 2020

 

As I have stated previously, in common with every other school, we have been urged by the UK and Welsh governments to take every opportunity to limit the spread of the Covid 19 disease. In order to comply with this request, Ysgol y Grango will be closing our doors on Friday, 3rd April until Monday, 20th April.

As ever, we have not taken this decision lightly and have acted in what we believe to be the best interests of our pupils and the community which we serve. We have chosen to close as we have no uptake from key worker parents requesting childcare arrangements during the Easter holidays. Closing our doors will mean that we will be able, in line with government guidelines, to avoid unnecessary travel and social contact and be part of the national effort to beat this virus.

I want to thank the parents of Ysgol y Grango once again for their continued support. Each and every one of our parents deserves respect for heeding government advice and, for those able to do so, keeping your children at home.
