Attendance letters

Every pupil has been given a traffic light colour coded attendance letter this morning to bring home. Every pupil will receive an attendance letter every half term, the next letter will be due December 2019. If pupils are absent today, they will be given their letter by their Form Tutor tomorrow, should a pupil be absent again tomorrow, the letter will be posted home. 

Please can I take this opportunity to remind all parents/guardians of the procedures to report your child absent from school. Parents/Guardians must inform school by 9.30am on a daily basis if your child is absent from school; to do this you may telephone the school office on 01978 833010 or text the dedicated Truancy Call/absence line for free on 07860005054 or alternatively you may email AdminG1@hwbcymru.net  

As a thank you to all of our parents/guardians for your help and support, if your child achieves an attendance rate of 95% or better for the academic year, they will be entered into a prize draw in July 2020 where they can win for their family £250 of Love to Shop vouchers.
